When it comes to cooking in the kitchen, the first thing you need is a good set of knives. Once you have that, there are so many different cooking / baking tools to choose from. Today I am sharing 5 amazing tools that are under $20 and are great additions to your kitchen. I use them ALL the time and they've made cooking and baking much easier.
Accusharp Knife Sharpener : This is a tool a lot of people don't have or are afraid to use, but it probably the most important tool to have in your kitchen! This knife sharpener is very easy to use and has a built in finger guard to protect you while sharpening your knives. It works on serrated and non-serrated knives. It also nice and compact so it won't take up a lot of space in your drawer.
2. Microplane : This is great for zesting fruits, grating garlic, grating ginger, and even grating cheese! Whats great about this versus a traditional box grater is you can easily grate something over a pot or bowl.
3. Magnetic Measuring Spoons: I just received these as a gift and I am obsessed! I love that one side of the measuring spoon is an oval shape so you can easily scoop and measure spices straight out of the jar. The fact that these are magnetic also means they will stay together and be organized in your kitchen drawer. I cannot tell you how many times I have wasted time digging through my drawers looking for a certain measuring spoon. So I am really excited to have these in my kitchen now.

5. Food Scale: This tool is for my bakers! The most accurate way to measure your ingredients is by weighing them, and you will notice that a lot of baking recipes will list the grams for measurements. I've had this scale for over a year and it is very accurate, easy to use, and easy to store. I use it all the time!
